Faced with the task of turning the advertising claim “Kimbo Coffee Hour” into a concrete experience, Lead created a series of events from 2010 to 2012 that involved tens of thousands of people.
In 2010, a six-stop tour of Italy with illustrious guests morphed into an elegant temporary show dedicated to coffee that enlivened Milan’s famous fashion district for a month.
“Kimbo Coffee Hour Lounge”, where one can fully experience fine coffee, capable of mobilizing artists, writers and contemporary personalities, was replicated the following year in Rome in the Hotel Majestic Lounge on Via Veneto, including the splendid terrace overlooking the street that continues to evoke the magical era of La Dolce Vita. Another Kimbo lounge in Rome was staged for the Italian Open tennis tournament in the VIP area of the Foro Italico.
The results? During 30 months of activity, 1,061 articles published on national newspapers, consumer and trade magazines, TV and radio, both on-and off-line, amounting to € 3.3 million in value and 156 million of contacts.
